Christmas Village Policies

To ensure a fun, safe and enjoyable family environment for all our Guests, we ask visitors to Sloan’s Christmas Village to adhere to the Village Policies & Conditions of Entry while taking part in attractions or searching for a Christmas tree.  The policies are outlined below. Please contact our main office if you require this information in an alternate format.

Village Policies & Conditions of Entry to Sloan’s Christmas Village

  1. All persons entering the property, grounds, facilities and fields do so entirely at their own risk and choose to do so under these conditions. NO liability for loss, injury or damage will be accepted.
  2. Parents and Custodians are responsible for their children/charges. Do not leave children unattended anywhere. Supervise children at all times, especially at interactive areas and while using Village activities.
  3. Obey all signs.
  4. No responsibility is accepted for loss of or damage to personal items brought onto premise or left in the parking lots.
  5. No Pets Permitted on Property- To ensure safety of all our visitors, our animals, other guests & staff, Sloan’s Village does not permit pets of any kind on its property. Service animals are welcome.
  6. Music played on personal devices is not permitted.
  7. No chainsaws are permitted to be brought on Village property.
  8. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought on Village property.
  9. No propane containers, or BBQs are permitted to be brought on Village property.
  10. Management reserves the right to inspect all totes, bags, coolers, containers, etc. brought onto the property.
  11. The seating, and design of certain Village activities/features may prohibit elderly persons, and guests of certain ability, body shapes and sizes from participating.
  12. Sloan’s Village is a smoke-free environment, including vaping (excludes campfire smoke). A designated area is available at the end of the parking lot.
  13. Tree Haulers are not permitted in the Village Campfire or Activity areas.
  14. Electrical outlets are not available for all guests; limited access is only available for those guests who have a booked a Corporate Party and paid for use.
  15. Campfires must be covered by the wire cage at all times when in use, to ensure safety and Bylaw compliance. Cooking is permitted, and possible, while the wire cage is over the fire. Only one campfire is permitted per site.
  16. Management reserves the right to limit the size of a fire and the amount of wood used to ensure Bylaw compliance and safety.
  17. Some Village activities and rides may close during poor weather conditions for the safety of guests, our animals and staff. No refunds or rain cheques provided due to inclement weather.
  18. Consumer Image Policy and Guest Awareness: During your visit, you may be filmed, taped or photographed by or on behalf of Sloan’s Village. Your admission to the Village serves as your permission to use, record, reproduce, broadcast, sell and distribute any of the above.
  19. Guest Conduct- Any behaviour that threatens or is harmful to staff and/or our animals and/or property, or disrupts another guest’s enjoyment of Sloan’s Village or is in violation of Village Conditions of Entry and Entrance Purchase could result in the violator being ejected from Sloan’s Village without refund.
  20. Drones, or other flying devices, are not permitted on the property.
